EGGS

I keep returning to the form of the egg. It is such an elegant and satisfying symbol of hope and new life. Yet it also has an innate paradox. What is in the egg is new potential, protected from harm by the outer shell, but if that shell is not broken then what is inside will never make its way out. This is why I always make an opening in my eggs.
